Today is my mother's birthday. She would have been 87 today.
This is her in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, circa 1952. She's sitting on her marital bed. The headboard and side table made it out to California. I'm not so sure about the mattress. My wife and I still have the dresser (not in this picture). It's very retro-1950s.
Happy Birthday, Mom. I love and miss you. RIP
